History
The thing I really appreciate about the shirts is that their subject matter has a lot of interesting history. Lew Tendler's in Philadelphia is an especially good example. For one thing, Tendler was once "the greatest southpaw in the history of boxing," according to The Ring Magazine. (He's in the Jewish Sports Hall of Fame, as well.) But the restaurant was for decades a posst-Prohibition joint full of Damon Runyon-esque characters, a place where writers, mobsters, athletes, politicians raised a glass. It's great that Turi at Matchbook Apparel focuses on this, and celebrates it. https://thepenngazette.com/lews-place/
Classic never goes out of fasion
This shirt is such a classic I had to get it for my boyfriend! It fits perfectly, true to size, and it's a nice addition to his wardrobe. Always good to see him in something DIFFERENT than the norm!
Love the shirt
My husband loves the shirt and it fits great. Love the idea of the matchbook art on the cover.
