Unleash your time-traveling inner chef with our unique collection of vintage matchbook aprons! These aprons feature designs inspired by the matchbooks of iconic & unique restaurants, joints, and diners of the past and are sure to bring a touch of retro charm and culinary art to your kitchen or outdoor grill.
Located between the Garrick Theater on 64 West Randolph Steet and the Moulin Rouge Nightclub at 54 West Randolph, the Ham n ’Egger was a 1940s/1950s era Downtown Chicago diner. From its bright neon façade featuring a pig & chicken speaking on the phone to its “farm fresh” menu, the Ham n’ Egger was a beloved Chicago institution until its closure in 1961 when the Garrick Theater was demolished.
